About the Role
Blythedale Children’s Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist to support medically fragile pediatric patients and their families. In this role, you will assess needs, create individualized care plans, and deliver music therapy interventions that promote comfort, engagement, and supportive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and families to determine appropriate music therapy goals and interventions
- Plan and implement music therapy sessions for individual and group caseloads
- Manage a caseload efficiently to ensure consistent, high-quality supportive care
- Coordinate care efforts to support clinical priorities for medically fragile children
- Document and track services in accordance with program and clinical expectations
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Music Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric patients (pediatrics experience preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention planning skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $37.44–$41.54 per hour (annualized: $77,875–$86,419)
