About the Role
Microsoft is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead Security for AI strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution. In this role, you’ll help shape how customers observe, govern, and secure AI agents at scale—across users, agents, and AI platforms—while aligning with Microsoft’s broader AI platform direction.
Security for AI at Microsoft spans identity and access, network controls, data protection, threat defense, posture management, and AI compliance to support trustworthy AI transformation.
Responsibilities
- Own Security for AI product marketing strategy, including messaging, positioning, and market narrative
- Drive go-to-market planning and execution across launches, enablement, and field communications
- Lead and mentor a product marketing team, setting priorities and ensuring high-impact deliverables
- Partner with product, engineering, security, and sales stakeholders to translate customer needs into marketing strategy
- Support execution of security strategy that helps customers govern and protect AI agents and platforms at scale
Requirements
- Experience leading product marketing for security, platform, or enterprise technology solutions
- Strong understanding of AI governance, risk, and/or security concepts
- Proven ability to execute end-to-end go-to-market plans in complex, cross-functional environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and developing team members
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling messaging for technical and business audiences
