About the Role
The Indiana University Foundation is looking for a Donor Experiences and Events Assistant to support donor experiences and recognition efforts that connect private support to meaningful impact at Indiana University. You’ll help ensure events run smoothly, donors feel welcomed, and department operations stay organized.
Responsibilities
- Assist with event execution, including timelines and run-of-show documentation
- Manage event logistics such as nametags, catering coordination, and onsite support
- Compile post-event reports and enter attendance information into the donor database
- Maintain day-to-day department coordination, including purchasing event supplies and materials
- Track inventory, monitor storage areas, and ensure supplies and equipment are ready for upcoming events
- Support department financial processes, including check requests, invoice follow-up, and travel reimbursement coordination
Requirements
- Strong service mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet event deadlines
- Comfort working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
- Reliable onsite presence during events
- Basic familiarity with data entry and recordkeeping (donor database and attendance reporting)
