About the Role
ShorePoint is seeking a Senior API Developer to help build and enhance eGRC solutions that support high-impact cybersecurity work for private and public-sector customers. You’ll join a team focused on protecting sensitive data, strengthening governance and risk capabilities, and delivering reliable integrations that stand up to real-world security demands.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain API services that support eGRC workflows and internal platforms
- Collaborate with engineering and security stakeholders to define requirements and implementation approaches
- Build and improve integrations between systems while maintaining strong security and data handling practices
- Write clean, testable code and contribute to documentation and operational readiness
- Troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes, and drive sustainable fixes
Requirements
- Proven experience building and operating APIs in a production environment
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience delivering secure, scalable services
- Working knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns and secure API design
- Experience with modern development practices (testing, version control, and CI/CD)
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across technical teams
