About the Role
Nscale is hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead EHS programs at our on-site data center facility in Madison, North Carolina. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary EHS leader, helping protect employees, contractors, visitors, and business operations while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety programs for the facility
- Partner with Data Center Operations, Security, Logistics, Facilities Management, and external contractors to strengthen safety practices
- Drive a strong safety culture and support operational readiness across day-to-day activities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal EHS standards
- Collaborate with the colocation provider to align safety and environmental expectations
Requirements
- Experience leading EHS programs in an industrial, facilities, or operations environment
- Strong knowledge of applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and influence safety outcomes
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in EHS performance
