About the Role
DAT Freight & Analytics is a next-generation SaaS company helping brokers, carriers, and shippers move and price freight more accurately. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead teams building software and intelligent automation that support our freight marketplace and analytics platform.
Based in the Denver, CO area, you’ll help drive engineering execution, coach teams, and partner across product and operations to deliver reliable, scalable systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineers, supporting career growth and team effectiveness
- Plan, prioritize, and deliver software initiatives in collaboration with product stakeholders
- Improve engineering processes, quality standards, and delivery practices
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and dependable through thoughtful engineering leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum
Requirements
- Experience managing engineering teams in a software or SaaS environment
- Strong technical background with the ability to guide architecture and execution
- Proven collaboration skills across product, engineering, and operational partners
- Track record of improving engineering workflows and delivery outcomes
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, data-driven product environment
