About the Role
Join the Business Affairs team in our Los Angeles office as an expert in motion picture business. Reporting to the Head of Business Affairs, you’ll support development, production, and distribution projects across the full deal lifecycle—partnering with internal teams and external talent to help shape strategy, manage risk, and build strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage motion picture development, production, and distribution projects day to day
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for talent and creative partners, including actors, writers, producers, and directors
- Negotiate rights, financing, co-production, option, and distribution agreements
- Serve as a trusted business partner to agents and executives by providing practical deal guidance
- Apply business judgment to balance company needs with acceptable risk while maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of motion picture development, production, and distribution processes
- Proven experience negotiating and drafting entertainment agreements
- Ability to evaluate deal strategy and commercial risk with sound business judgment
- Excellent relationship management skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners
