About the Role
Budderfly is a fast-growing, private equity-backed energy management outsourcing company focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses reduce carbon emissions. We deliver complete energy-saving solutions through patented technologies, equipment upgrades, and proprietary energy software. We’re seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting as we continue to scale.
Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions
- Build and maintain recurring financial reports for leadership and operational teams
- Analyze performance trends and help identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Support month-end close activities and ensure data accuracy across reporting
- Partner cross-functionally to gather requirements and improve financial processes
Requirements
- Experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis (or a related entry-level background)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Excel and financial reporting fundamentals
- Comfort working with data and communicating insights clearly
