About the Role
As the RCM Financial Counseling Manager, you’ll lead and optimize front-end financial assistance counseling across a large, multi-site oncology Management Services Organization (MSO). This is a high-touch role focused on delivering timely, compassionate support to patients and oncology care teams at the point of care.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day delivery of financial counseling services for patients and provider teams
- Ensure guidance is timely, accurate, and aligned with program requirements
- Support patients with insurance coverage, benefits, estimates, and prior authorization-related questions
- Facilitate access to financial assistance programs and help remove barriers to treatment
- Partner with clinical teams to improve workflows and strengthen patient outcomes
Requirements
- Experience leading or managing financial counseling, patient financial services, or related front-end operations
- Strong understanding of insurance coverage and benefits processes
- Ability to deliver empathetic, patient-first communication in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with prior authorizations and estimate/eligibility workflows
- Strong organizational skills to manage accuracy and timeliness across multiple sites
