About the Role
Join the Department of the Navy at COMFLTREADCEN as a Financial Management Analyst. In this role, you’ll partner with requirement owners to ensure workload information is accurately reflected in budget submissions and to help identify solutions for potential funding concerns.
Responsibilities
- Support Navy Working Capital Fund budget formulation, presentation, and justification
- Assist with budget execution and ensure financial management aligns with established policies and procedures
- Conduct contract reviews and help manage an approved budget to maintain compliance
- Perform studies to improve effectiveness and efficiency across work methods, procedures, organizations, and manpower use
- Lead or manage financial management analysis for program and project funding, including costs, obligations, planning, execution, and financial reporting
Requirements
- Experience conducting financial management analysis related to budgets, obligations, and reporting
- Ability to analyze workload requirements and translate data into budget inputs
- Strong understanding of budget formulation, execution, and justification processes
- Knowledge of compliance-focused financial management practices and documentation
