About the Role
Relativity Space is looking for a Fluids Analyst I to support combustion device development for our launch vehicles. In this role, you’ll help analyze fluid behavior to inform design decisions and improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
- Perform fluids and combustion-related analyses to support combustion device design and testing
- Develop and validate analysis models using available data and established methods
- Collaborate with propulsion, test, and engineering teams to interpret results and recommend next steps
- Support troubleshooting efforts by analyzing system behavior and identifying likely contributing factors
- Document assumptions, methods, and findings clearly for engineering review
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of fluid dynamics and/or combustion fundamentals
- Experience with analysis tools and data interpretation (e.g., CFD, simulation workflows, or equivalent)
- Strong quantitative skills and comfort working with engineering data
- Ability to clearly communicate technical results and support cross-functional collaboration
- Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering, physics, or a related field
