Founders Associate (Early-Stage Startup) | Hybrid SF or London

About the Role

Bits is a fintech startup backed by Y Combinator, building consumer financial products designed to help customers manage and improve their financial health. We’re looking for a Founders Associate to work closely with our Founder/CEO and help drive early momentum—by building, shipping, and learning fast.

This role is based in San Francisco or London (either works) and will involve frequent travel across SF, London, and Dubai. If you’re energized by hands-on execution and have built things before, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the Founder/CEO to support day-to-day execution and long-term growth
• Build and iterate on product and operational initiatives in a fast-moving environment
• Contribute to customer-focused improvements across consumer fintech offerings
• Travel frequently to collaborate with teams and stakeholders across SF, London, and Dubai
• Operate with a high sense of ownership—turn ideas into shipped work

Requirements

• Demonstrated track record of achievement (academics, sports, or business)
• Proven experience building and shipping—strong builder mindset required
• Comfort working hard and moving quickly (not a traditional 9–5 role)
• Humility, strong attitude, and willingness to do the unglamorous work to get results
• Excellent initiative and problem-solving in ambiguous environments
