About the Role
Woolpert is seeking a GeoBase GIS Analyst to support geospatial efforts at Lackland Air Force Base (AFB) in San Antonio, Texas. This hybrid position includes four on-site days at the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) and one remote day, helping deliver accurate mapping and spatial analysis for mission needs.
Responsibilities
- Support GIS data management and geospatial analysis within the GeoBase environment
- Assist with updating, maintaining, and validating spatial datasets used by stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering and geospatial teams to support operational reporting and map products
- Contribute to troubleshooting and continuous improvement of GIS workflows and tools
Requirements
- Working knowledge of GIS concepts, mapping, and spatial data workflows
- Experience working with GIS data formats and common geospatial tools
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners
- Comfort working on-site at AFCEC (Lackland AFB) as scheduled
