About the Role
The WDTS (Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientist) Program supports a pipeline of talented and diverse STEM professionals through undergraduate internships and related faculty opportunities. This specific posting is for pre-selected Office of Science (SC) WDTS students for the Fall 2026 term.
Please note: if you have not previously applied to WDTS and been selected by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) Lab Education Director (LED), review the program details at https://science.osti.gov/wdts.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured STEM internship experience aligned with program goals
- Engage in learning activities that support DOE and Office of Science workforce development
- Contribute to internship projects under appropriate guidance
Requirements
- Must be a pre-selected Office of Science (SC) WDTS student
- Undergraduate status (or recently completed Bachelor’s degree) before beginning graduate studies
- Interest in building a career in STEM fields supported by the DOE
