About the Role

Seakeeper is modernizing the marine industry with innovative technology, and we’re seeking a Director-level leader to own our Software Engineering, DevOps, and AI initiatives. You’ll guide the development of our cloud platform—shaping infrastructure, engineering practices, and AI capabilities that power the next generation of the Seakeeper experience.

You’ll collaborate with leaders across Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, and Business Technology to deliver scalable platforms, speed up digital innovation, and turn data into measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers focused on platform services, APIs, and internal business solutions
• Provide technical direction, architectural oversight, and establish engineering standards
• Drive development of cloud platform infrastructure and scalable services
• Partner cross-functionally to align platform delivery with product and business priorities
• Advance DevOps practices to improve reliability, deployment velocity, and operational excellence
• Develop and guide AI capabilities that support key product and business use cases

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in software engineering and platform development
• Strong background in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure
• Experience applying AI/ML concepts to real-world systems or products
• Demonstrated ability to set architecture direction and engineering standards
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and operations teams
