About the Role
We’re seeking a certified High School Math Substitute Teacher to deliver engaging, hands-on math instruction aligned with academic standards. This contractor role supports students with real-world learning and prepares them for future success.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high school math lessons in alignment with the school’s curriculum
- Support students with interactive, practical instruction and classroom guidance
- Maintain a positive, professional learning environment
- Follow school policies and work expectations during the assignment period
Requirements
- Michigan math teaching certification required
- Must reside in Michigan
- Ability to work professionally from a home office with minimal distractions during scheduled hours (typically 9–5 or 8–4, or as defined by the school)
- Contractor availability for the assignment dates: August 11, 2026 through November 1, 2026
Compensation & Schedule
- Contractor full-time schedule: 40 hours per week
- Pay rate: $35.00/hour (approximately $72,800 annually based on 40 hours/week)
