About the Role
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center—Sunnyvale is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day Human Resources operations under the supervision of the HR Manager. You’ll help ensure HR processes align with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards while representing the hospital’s core values.
Responsibilities
- Maintain professional, ethical conduct and model the hospital’s core values while supporting a positive HR presence
- Compile HR metrics related to orientation, turnover, and vacancies, and assist leadership with analysis
- Gather data from multiple sources to support special projects and prepare clear reports
- Process leave of absence requests, including workers’ compensation claims, and follow up on related correspondence
- Research HR-related issues, compile data, and develop recommendations to address system challenges
- Support maintenance of job-related documentation and HR records
Requirements
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and employment standards
- Strong data compilation and reporting skills
- Ability to research, analyze information, and make practical recommendations
- Professional communication skills and attention to confidentiality
