About the Role

Join U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security as a Human Resources Specialist focused on specialized training initiatives. You will deliver expert technical guidance to HRM leadership on training programs aligned to the unique missions and technical needs of HRM directorates and divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical assistance and guidance to HRM management on specialized training initiatives
  • Support HRM leadership with planning, coordination, and execution of training efforts tailored to program needs
  • Collaborate with HRM stakeholders to ensure training aligns with directorate and division priorities
  • Contribute to mission-support efforts within the Office of Human Resources Management

Requirements

  • Experience providing HR technical guidance related to training and development initiatives
  • Ability to advise and support HRM management at multiple levels
  • Strong understanding of training program planning and implementation
  • Ability to work effectively within federal HR environments and support mission-focused outcomes

Benefits

  • Salary range: $102,415 to $133,142 (GS-12 Step 1 to Step 10)
