About the Role
Hadley Designs is looking for a Director of Talent, Hiring & People Operations to help us build the people systems that support our next stage of growth. We’re a family-founded brand focused on creating engaging, screen-free educational tools trusted by parents and teachers worldwide.
This role will help design scalable hiring and people operations processes, strengthen team enablement, and cultivate a culture where people can grow both personally and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve end-to-end recruiting processes, including planning, sourcing, screening, and hiring workflows
- Design and maintain scalable People Ops systems (policies, onboarding, documentation, and operational cadence)
- Partner with leaders to forecast hiring needs and align talent strategy to business goals
- Support hiring manager enablement through structured interview training and consistent evaluation practices
- Help shape company culture through people programs, feedback loops, and continuous process improvements
- Ensure compliance-minded practices and accurate, organized people operations documentation
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in talent acquisition and/or People Operations
- Strong ability to build scalable hiring processes and operational workflows
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with managers and leadership teams
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, people-first mindset
- Comfort working in a fast-growing environment where processes are continually evolving
