About the Role
Join our team in Ashland, VA as an Industrial Electrical Systems Engineer on a contract-to-hire basis. This onsite role supports the design and deployment of electrical systems for overhead cranes and material handling equipment, with hands-on involvement in installation, startup, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Design and support electrical systems for overhead cranes and material handling equipment
- Assist with equipment installation and startup activities
- Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues in industrial environments
- Ensure electrical designs align with relevant industry standards and project requirements
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to deliver reliable, safe system performance
Requirements
- Experience in industrial electrical engineering
- Familiarity with crane controls and/or material handling control systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing automation and electrical system troubleshooting
- Ability to work onsite in Ashland, VA (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM)
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay from $39.00/hour (higher based on experience)
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
- Overtime not available
