About the Role
DEFCON AI is looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to support and maintain the infrastructure behind our cloud environments, identity systems, and end-user services. In this contract role, you’ll help ensure reliable access, security, and smooth day-to-day operations for internal users and cloud-based applications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to support business-critical services
- Administer and support identity and access systems for secure user authentication
- Support end-user computing environments and resolve technical issues
- Monitor systems for performance, availability, and security concerns
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement improvements and fixes
- Document system configurations, procedures, and operational updates
Requirements
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar IT operations role
- Hands-on experience supporting cloud environments
- Experience administering identity and access management systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, services, and user-facing technologies
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with clear operational ownership
