In this role, reliability is treated as a software engineering outcome—driven by sound design, maintainable code, and disciplined operational practices.
You’ll partner with feature and production engineering teams to embed reliability, diagnosability, security, and compliance from design through operations, while helping operate and continuously improve large-scale enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the build and operations of security engineering services in regulated cloud environments
- Design reliability into production systems through automation, self-healing capabilities, and robust telemetry
- Partner with feature engineering teams to ensure reliability, security, and compliance are addressed end-to-end
- Operate and evolve large-scale applications, ensuring strong lifecycle management and operational rigor
- Improve diagnosability and incident readiness using measurement, monitoring, and disciplined engineering practices
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with a focus on maintainable, extensible design
- Experience building and operating production systems with telemetry-driven reliability
- Demonstrated knowledge of automation and lifecycle practices for reliable operations
- Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments (e.g., government cloud) is preferred
- Ability to lead technical execution across teams and drive reliability outcomes
Benefits
- Opportunity to work on mission-critical security engineering services in highly regulated environments
- Collaborate with teams delivering production code, automation, and self-healing capabilities
- Build reliability, diagnosability, security, and compliance into systems from day one
