About the Role
TCA Architects, founded in 1993, is seeking a passionate, design-oriented Junior Architectural Designer to support our growing team in Oakland. You’ll play an important role in multi-family design work, helping contribute to award-winning, sustainable projects across mixed-use, retail, and hospitality development.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Designers with architectural design tasks for multi-family and mixed-use projects
- Support concept development, documentation, and design revisions as projects evolve
- Collaborate with the team to maintain design quality and consistency across deliverables
- Contribute to producing clear, accurate drawings and presentation materials
Requirements
- Interest in multi-family housing and architectural design
- Strong design mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented studio environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within a technology-driven, design-focused practice
