About the Role
AoPS Academy is seeking a part-time Language Arts Instructor for the 2026–2027 academic year. If you enjoy helping students build strong reading, writing, and communication skills in a collaborative classroom, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Teach using AoPS Academy’s company-created language arts curriculum and materials for advanced learners.
- Lead small classes and support student-led learning during each lesson.
- Manage classroom activities effectively with up to 16 students.
- Grade assessments and provide clear feedback to support student growth.
- Build positive relationships with students and families to reinforce learning at home and in school.
Requirements
- Experience teaching Language Arts or related coursework (preferred).
- Strong classroom management and facilitation skills.
- Ability to provide timely, constructive feedback on student work.
- Comfort working with advanced students in a small-group setting.
