About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next generation of rugged, electrified vehicles with a focus on innovation, craftsmanship, and respect for the communities we serve. We’re looking for a Launch Management Engineer Specialist to support General Assembly launch activities and help ensure our production programs ramp smoothly and reliably.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate launch readiness activities for General Assembly, aligning engineering, operations, and cross-functional partners
- Support build plans, documentation, and change control related to new or updated vehicle programs
- Drive issue identification and resolution during ramp-up, including tracking actions and verifying closure
- Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure process, tooling, and quality needs are met for stable production
- Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and standardizing best practices
Requirements
- Experience with vehicle or manufacturing launch processes, ramp planning, or production engineering
- Strong understanding of general assembly operations and cross-functional coordination
- Ability to analyze problems, manage priorities, and communicate clearly across teams
- Working knowledge of quality and documentation practices used during production launches
