About the Role
As a Lead Event Specialist, you’ll help drive in-store food and non-food demonstrations with a professional, customer-focused approach. You’ll maintain event readiness by keeping equipment and supplies organized, clean, and secured, while supporting the team before, during, and after store events.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies to ensure they remain clean, secured, and stored in the agreed backroom area
- Serve as the point person for in-store events when the supervisor is unavailable
- Communicate with store management about upcoming events and review the outcomes of recent events when needed
- Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools as required
- Provide leadership and share product and event knowledge with the team
- Demonstrate and sell products in a professional manner while engaging and assisting customers
Requirements
- Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of products represented
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfort taking ownership of event execution in the supervisor’s absence
- Attention to detail for equipment setup, cleanliness, and organization
