About the Role
Scout Motors is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to support our Marketing, Brand, and Intellectual Property (IP) initiatives. In this role, you’ll help strengthen the way legal works with brand and go-to-market teams—ensuring processes are efficient, risks are managed, and decisions are made with clarity.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve legal operations workflows that support marketing, brand protection, and IP activities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline approvals, documentation, and review processes.
- Help manage brand/IP intake and prioritization to ensure timely support for campaigns and business needs.
- Support governance for brand usage, trademark-related activities, and IP-related requests.
- Maintain accurate tracking of requests, status, and outcomes to improve visibility and reporting.
- Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions that reduce cycle time and rework.
Requirements
- Experience in legal operations, legal project management, or a similar function supporting legal workflows.
- Strong understanding of marketing, brand protection, and/or IP fundamentals (e.g., trademarks).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a process-improvement mindset.
- Experience using legal workflow tools, ticketing systems, or related platforms (preferred).
