About the Role
University Home Care Inc is hiring a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patients in their homes across Detroit and surrounding areas in Michigan. In this role, you’ll deliver attentive nursing care while helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and well-supported.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and ongoing health monitoring
- Work with the care team to support and follow individualized patient care plans
- Complete timely, accurate documentation of patient status and nursing services
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care guidance
- Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, and safety standards
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Michigan
- Experience in home care or a related clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered, empathetic approach
