About the Role
The Related Services Coordinator is the primary point of contact for teachers, school staff, and service providers to coordinate therapy and related services for students covered under an IEP or 504 Plan. You’ll ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, including timelines and required reporting for service acquisition and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for school teams and external providers regarding related services
- Build and maintain a statewide network of qualified providers across private and public sectors
- Negotiate provider rates based on current market value for services delivered
- Establish and maintain contracts with service providers
- Follow all applicable procedures to support timely, accurate service coordination
- Complete required reporting related to the provision of services to students
Requirements
- Experience coordinating services, programs, or provider networks (education, healthcare, or related fields preferred)
- Strong understanding of compliance expectations and reporting requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a contract role
Compensation
- Contract pay: $15/hour (annualized estimate: $31,200)
