Litigation Associate Attorney (2-4 Years) – Civil Defense | Hybrid (Chicago, IL)

About the Role

We are looking for a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of civil litigation experience to join our civil defense practice in Chicago, Illinois. You’ll work on a wide range of defense matters, partnering closely with experienced litigators while building hands-on case experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil defense litigation across a variety of claim types
• Support case development through strong legal writing and organized case management
• Communicate with clients and coordinate with internal team members to keep matters on track
• Assist with discovery, motion practice, and other litigation activities as assigned

Requirements

• 2–4 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal writing skills
• Proven case management and client communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
