About the Role
We’re seeking a Logistics Clerk to provide administrative support to our Warehouse Department Managers and their teams. In this role, you’ll help coordinate routine paperwork, support shipment tracking, monitor inventory levels, and assist with project assignments while communicating professionally and confidentially.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support for the warehouse team, including drafting letters and memorandums for signature
- Transcribe notes and prepare routine correspondence and department reports
- Contact shipping providers to flag delays or issues that could impact delivery timelines
- Coordinate freight shipments using computer systems to maintain accurate shipment details (e.g., weight, volume, and destination)
- Monitor inventory levels and support updates to ensure availability for warehouse operations
- Communicate with both exempt and non-exempt associates in a professional, confidential manner
Requirements
- Strong administrative and clerical skills with attention to detail
- Comfort using computer systems for tracking and reporting
- Ability to coordinate shipment information accurately
- Professional communication skills and ability to handle confidential information
