About the Role
SpaceX is building the technologies to enable human life on Mars, and the Construction Projects Team plays a key role by designing, delivering, and activating critical infrastructure. As a Mechanical Engineer, Infrastructure, you’ll partner with engineers across disciplines to support large capital projects for internal customer groups.
This role is based in the Austin area, with potential travel depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams, coordinating with consulting engineers and contractors
- Support the design and execution of infrastructure projects from planning through activation
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure project requirements are met
- Help drive delivery of large-scale capital projects for internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering experience with infrastructure or construction project delivery
- Ability to coordinate technical work across multiple stakeholders, including contractors
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in project execution
