About the Role
Roku is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help build and operate machine learning systems that support advertising performance at scale. You’ll partner with engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-impact services across the TV streaming ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain ML services with a strong focus on reliability and operational excellence
- Collaborate with DevOps/SRE practices to ensure systems are observable, secure, and resilient
- Build and improve data/ML pipelines that support experimentation, training, and serving
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause fixes and preventative improvements
- Work cross-functionally to support performance, latency, and cost optimization goals
Requirements
- Experience building and operating machine learning systems in production
- Strong DevOps/SRE background, including monitoring, incident response, and automation
- Proficiency with common ML and data tooling (frameworks, pipelines, and deployment workflows)
- Ability to write reliable software and collaborate effectively in a fast-moving environment
