About the Role
Nest Health is building a family-first, value-based care model that brings medical, behavioral, and social support within reach for high-risk families. As a Medical Assistant & Family Advocate in Show Low, you’ll help patients access timely in-home and virtual care while supporting clinical workflows and connecting families to needed resources.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake, vitals, and preparation for visits
- Support coordination of same-day/next-day acute visits, labs, and vaccinations
- Help manage chronic condition and transitions of care support tasks
- Provide family advocacy by identifying needs and guiding patients to appropriate services
- Maintain accurate documentation and support care team communication
- Contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered experience for adults and pediatric patients
Requirements
- Medical assistant experience and/or relevant training
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with diverse families
- Ability to support both clinical tasks and advocacy/navigation activities
- Basic familiarity with documentation and care coordination
- Compassionate, service-oriented mindset
