About the Role
We are seeking a Nursing Faculty member to teach assigned courses and deliver instruction in line with course syllabi, Alabama Community College System policies, and program guidelines. This role is onsite and supports the college’s overall mission through teaching, advising, and committee participation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain duty hours and complete assigned teaching responsibilities according to the faculty schedule
- Teach courses and implement the instructional program using approved syllabi
- Advise and recruit students to support enrollment and student success
- Assist with curriculum updates and instructional improvements
- Maintain and support instructional equipment used for teaching
- Participate in college committees and coordinate instructional activities with nursing leadership
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the nursing instructional discipline
- Ability to coordinate with the Director of Nursing, Division Director, and Associate Dean (as applicable)
