Wilson Elser is seeking a Medical Malpractice/Nursing Home Defense Attorney to join our team in New York. Responsibilities
- Defend healthcare-related claims involving medical malpractice and nursing home matters
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategy and manage litigation progress
- Work closely with clients to support timely, high-quality legal outcomes
- Prepare and review legal filings, case materials, and supporting documentation
Requirements
- Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to become admitted)
- Experience handling medical malpractice and/or nursing home defense matters is preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Professional communication and a collaborative approach to teamwork
