About the Role
The Louisiana Special School District is seeking a Paraeducator to support special education services at the Central Louisiana Supports & Services Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. In this role, you will help ensure exceptional students receive the educational supports they need to meet legally mandated requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist with delivering special education services that support students’ educational and behavioral needs
- Provide instructional and/or behavioral support under the direction of certified staff
- Support day-to-day classroom routines and learning activities
- Help create a positive, structured learning environment for students
Requirements
- Experience working with students who have exceptional needs is preferred
- Ability to follow directions from special education professionals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to student success and inclusive support
