About the Role
Join our team as a part-time Early Childhood Educator helping children ages 0–5 and their families build strong early learning foundations. You’ll lead engaging, play-based parent/child classes and support caregivers with practical guidance around child development and school readiness.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and facilitate interactive, play-based parent/child classes for children ages 0–5.
- Design and deliver parenting group sessions and workshops focused on development, readiness, and effective parenting strategies.
- Conduct child developmental screenings, provide follow-up guidance, and connect families with appropriate community resources when needed.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to parents to help them access resources and strengthen their role as their child’s first teacher.
Requirements
- Experience or training in early childhood education and/or child development.
- Comfort working with children ages 0–5 and facilitating group learning activities.
- Ability to conduct developmental observations/screenings and share supportive next steps with families.
- Strong communication skills and a family-centered, culturally responsive approach.
