About the Role
AoPS Academy is looking for a part-time Math Instructor who enjoys teaching advanced math and creating an interactive, student-centered learning experience. You’ll work with small classes and help learners build strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach using company-created curriculum and learning materials for advanced students
- Lead small-group instruction and encourage student-led learning during class
- Manage classroom activities effectively for up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Build positive relationships with students and families to support long-term academic growth
- Inspire curiosity and a lasting love of learning in mathematics
Requirements
- Experience teaching math (or strong background in mathematics)
- Ability to engage students and facilitate collaborative learning
- Strong classroom management skills
- Comfort providing feedback on tests and supporting student progress
