About the Role
AoPS Academy is looking for a part-time Math Instructor who’s passionate about helping students build confidence and critical thinking through engaging, student-centered instruction.
Responsibilities
- Teach using company-created curriculum and materials designed for advanced learners
- Lead small classes and actively involve students in each lesson, supporting student-led learning
- Manage classroom instruction effectively for up to 16 students
- Grade assessments and assignments and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Build strong relationships with students and families to support long-term learning
- Encourage curiosity and a genuine love of learning
Requirements
- Experience teaching math or working with students in an academic setting
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners
- Comfort grading assignments and providing feedback
