About the Role
As a per diem Dietitian at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center, you’ll provide clinical nutrition services across patient care areas. Your work will support evidence-based nutritional care and patient education while aligning with The Joint Commission standards, state requirements, and other applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutrition status using biochemical, anthropometric, physical, and dietary information
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or family members
- Maintain quality assurance by evaluating compliance with corporate policies and state and federal guidelines
- Develop and participate in educational sessions for staff to support best practices in nutrition care
Requirements
- CNSC credential (required for this role)
- Experience delivering clinical nutrition services and patient education
- Strong understanding of nutrition assessment, counseling, and quality/compliance expectations
