Senior Technical Quality Engineering Specialist (Exterior & Closures) | Hybrid

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Quality Engineering Specialist to help ensure the quality of exterior systems and closures, supporting our “Compromise Nothing™” approach across design, engineering, and production.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical quality activities for exterior and closure components, from issue identification through containment and resolution.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to analyze defects, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Support verification of robustness for design and process changes, including validation plans and readiness for production.
• Monitor quality performance, track action items, and communicate status and learnings to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by standardizing lessons learned and improving quality processes.

Requirements

• Experience in technical quality engineering within automotive or a closely related manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for exterior systems and/or closure mechanisms.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams to implement durable corrective actions.
• Comfort working with quality data, technical documentation, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail in fast-paced, high-accountability settings.
