About the Role
Join Octopus Tech as a Platform Engineer II and help build the technology foundation that powers a greener, more customer-friendly energy experience. You’ll contribute to platform architecture, reliability, and internal tooling that enable teams to ship improvements quickly and confidently.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain platform services that support core engineering and product workflows
- Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability across production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that reduce friction and accelerate delivery
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously enhance infrastructure and developer experiences
Requirements
- Proven experience building and operating platform or infrastructure services
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in modern development practices
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and automation
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote environment
