Following a $150M Series E led by Johnson & Johnson Innovation and Novo Growth, we’re expanding our engineering efforts to help accelerate better decisions across healthcare.
In this Backend Engineering role focused on Platform & Data Ingestion, you’ll design and build systems that support reliable ingestion and processing of real-world data—helping teams deliver insights with confidence and improving patient care outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain backend services that support platform capabilities and data ingestion pipelines
- Partner with data, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Improve data reliability, performance, and observability across ingestion and downstream workflows
- Implement robust engineering practices including testing, monitoring, and operational readiness
- Contribute to platform evolution by identifying bottlenecks and driving technical improvements
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience designing and operating distributed systems
- Experience building data ingestion, ETL/ELT, or data pipeline infrastructure
- Proficiency with modern backend languages and frameworks (specific stack not provided)
- Comfort working with cloud-based infrastructure and production-grade reliability practices
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly
