About the Role
RTX is seeking a Principal Command & Control Software Engineer to support mission-critical software development. This is an onsite position based in Aurora, Colorado, with requirements for an active, transferable U.S. government security clearance prior to your start date.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate command and control software capabilities for defense systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate mission needs into reliable software solutions
- Analyze system requirements and support implementation across the software lifecycle
- Contribute to architecture decisions, technical planning, and delivery of high-quality releases
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance without polygraph, existing and required on day 1
- U.S. citizenship required to be eligible for security clearance
- Experience building and integrating complex software in mission or defense environments
- Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to lead technical efforts end-to-end
