About the Role
LeoLabs is building a living map of activity in space using a global radar network and AI-enabled analytics. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead electrical design and technical strategy for mission-critical systems that support Space Domain Awareness, Space Traffic Management, and satellite operations for commercial and government customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical engineering design activities, from architecture and requirements through integration and verification.
- Drive technical decisions across hardware systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate mission needs into robust electrical solutions.
- Support system bring-up, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement based on test results and field feedback.
Requirements
- Strong background in electrical engineering with experience designing complex hardware systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical work and mentor engineers through design reviews and execution.
- Experience with embedded or RF-adjacent systems is a plus.
- Clear communication skills and a track record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
