About the Role
Engine is building a modern platform that brings corporate travel, a powerful charge card, and spend management together in one seamless experience. We’re looking for a Principal Product Designer to help redefine how businesses plan, book, and manage travel—while delighting users at every step.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design across web and mobile experiences for travel and spend workflows
- Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to define problems, shape solutions, and validate outcomes
- Drive design strategy for key fintech surfaces, including user journeys, interaction patterns, and information architecture
- Create and communicate design concepts, prototypes, and systems that scale across the platform
- Mentor and influence design craft standards through reviews, critique, and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior/principal product designer delivering complex, customer-facing products
- Strong command of UX and UI fundamentals, interaction design, and design systems
- Experience designing for fintech or adjacent regulated/transactional flows is a strong plus
- Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear user-centered solutions
- Excellent collaboration skills and a track record of partnering effectively with cross-functional teams
