About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are joining forces to help organizations unlock the full value of their data. As a Principal Product Designer, you’ll shape customer experiences across the data infrastructure layer—supporting everything from automated data movement to transformation and the context teams need to trust and use data with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design for complex, data-driven workflows
- Partner with product, engineering, and research to turn customer needs into clear UX and UI
- Define design direction and raise the bar for usability, accessibility, and consistency
- Collaborate on design systems and reusable patterns to scale across products
- Communicate design rationale and influence decisions through prototypes, specs, and reviews
Requirements
- Strong experience designing for B2B SaaS products, preferably in developer tools or data platforms
- Demonstrated ability to lead ambiguous problems and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Expert command of UX fundamentals, interaction design, and visual design
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams
- A portfolio showing impact, craft, and thoughtful problem-solving
