About the Role
Join our team as a Product Engineer supporting Plant 3 at Whitehall Casting Operations. You’ll help strengthen manufacturing performance through process control, continuous improvement initiatives, and product integrity ownership for assigned parts. This role also ensures accurate documentation for internal and external customer requirements and helps drive profitability through focused action plans.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain product integrity for assigned products
- Support manufacturing through process control and continuous improvement
- Create and maintain customer-facing and internal associate documents
- Develop part-specific work instructions to support consistent production
- Maintain job cost knowledge and use it to guide improvement decisions
- Develop and implement plans designed to improve profitability
- Apply a systems-thinking approach to understand how decisions impact operations at scale
- Continuously challenge teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness, supporting others with the tools and resources they need
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or production engineering
- Strong understanding of process control and continuous improvement principles
- Ability to manage documentation and create clear, part-specific work instructions
- Comfort working with job cost concepts to inform decisions
- Analytical mindset with a holistic, systems-thinking approach
- Collaborative communication skills to partner across teams and support execution
