Product Security Engineer / Architect (Email Security) | Defensive Engineering | Hybrid

About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Security Engineer / Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and engineering of enterprise email security capabilities within Global Cyber Security. Reporting to Defensive Engineering leadership, you’ll help protect the organization against phishing, business email compromise (BEC), account takeover, malware, and emerging email-borne threats.

Email is one of the most common attack vectors used by threat actors. In this role, you’ll build the technologies and security controls needed to safeguard our communication channels and reduce cyber risk across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Define product security strategy and reference architectures for enterprise email security
• Design and deliver engineering capabilities that detect, prevent, and mitigate email-based attacks
• Develop security controls to address phishing, BEC, account takeover, and malware
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate security requirements into scalable implementations
• Evaluate emerging threats and drive improvements to defenses and security posture
• Provide technical leadership to raise the bar on secure design, quality, and operational readiness

Requirements

• Experience designing security architectures for enterprise platforms, ideally including email ecosystems
• Strong knowledge of threat models and mitigations for phishing, BEC, account takeover, and malware
• Proven ability to lead technical strategy and drive engineering execution
• Experience working with security engineering teams and collaborating across multiple stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a security-first mindset
